Pitching Dominates, Birds Take Series Opener in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Del. - The Myrtle Beach Pelicans' pitching stymied the Wilmington Blue Rocks on Friday night in a 2-1 win from Frawley Stadium. The Blue Rocks (29-19) scored their lone run in the bottom of the first inning off of Pelicans (18-31) starter Erling Moreno (3-4).
